1、 Listen to the sound and check the status
A healthy variable displacement piston pump works like a softly humming violin:
1. Smooth operation: no abnormal vibration or intermittent noise
2. Stable flow: Slight fluctuations in the output pressure gauge pointer are normal phenomena
3. Reasonable temperature rise: The shell temperature usually does not exceed 60 ℃ (slightly hot to the touch)
2、 There are ways to conduct stress testing
A "physical examination" of the pump body requires three steps:
1. No load test: Normal pressure should be established within 1 minute after startup
2. Load test: When adjusting the flow rate, the pressure change should be linear and stable
3. Pressure holding test: Close the outlet valve and ensure that the pressure drop does not exceed 10% within 5 minutes
3、 Disassemble and inspect key components
Check these parts like an old Chinese medicine practitioner taking a pulse:
• Piston surface: smooth without any strain, with wear less than 0.02mm
Distribution plate: The contact strip is uniformly shiny without severe burn marks
Variable mechanism: flexible regulation without lag, accurate feedback signal
Sealing element: good elasticity without cracking, and the installation groove without deformation
